Membership is open to anyone with an interest in any of the various aspects of Science Fiction.
Associate membership is open to anyone living outside Mississippi; and, has been a Friend of the MDSFA.
(Associate members are many and treasured in their own rights. They include authors, artists, editors, publishers, BNF’s and all around nice folks.
Officers are elected during an open election forum. The official election forum occurs during a solar eclipse that falls upon a leap year. The officer candidate must be willing to forgo the use of silver wear during the BBQ feast. The officer candidate must also be able to repeat he opening line of a favorite MDSFA BBC program.
